Sara + Kate married at Rosedew Farm (Farmers Barns) in March this year.

I was accompanied by the lovely Charlie Leya –

I was so excited to see the details when arriving, I had chatted to the ladies about their plans and couldn’t wait to see them!

The first thing I noticed was the colour and vibrance around the whole day, not just the superhero elements and personally made bouquets but everybody there was so happy and so excited for these girls to tie the knot.

It was a bit of a covert operation to make sure our brides didn’t see each other before the ceremony as they were both getting ready at the barns, but we managed it…..just!

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house during the ceremony – everything was perfect. Fairy lights festooned the barn and bright yellow daffs seemed to be everywhere I looked. Just gorgeous.

After the confetti and group shots I drove the newlyweds down to the beach for some couple time. The weather suddenly turned on us, not just a spot of rain, but full blown golf ball hailstones – so as i’m face down on a stony beach (with my thick parka coat may I add) the ladies were totally exposed on the beach to all of the elements in heels and wedding dresses! Well at least they had brollys, right?!

Such utter troopers – anyway, the sun soon shone again – talk about 4 seasons in one day!

Back to the barns to enjoy afternoon tea and the speeches.

The evening consisted of pie and mash, Sara serenading Kate and then LOTS of dancing.

Thank you ladies for having me at your wedding. It ROCKED!
